Black Coffee Theatre

 


Lake Dillon Theatre Company's Black Coffee Theatre's current production is "Three Sisters, a Nurse and My Lady".  This is an evening of classic theatre monologues and scenes from Shakespeare, Aristophanes, Chekov, Moliere, and other classical playwrights.  Both comical and tragic, this will be a wonderful production using he best actresses in the county.  You don't have to be stuffy to enjoy pieces that have endured the test of time.  Shows will be run March 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, and 24 at 7:30 p.m.  The cost is $8.00.  Refreshments are available.  Reservations are recommended  513-9386.

The next production will be two one-acts.  A new play by Summit Daily News editor, T. Alex Miller, and "An Actor's Nightmare" a hysterical comedy.  This is a terrific opportunity for local playwrights, directors, and actors in Summit County to showcase their talents.  This production will be presented April 29, 30, May 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8.

Acting and production classes sponsored in coordination with the Backstage Theatre began on February 28 and will continue for four weeks.  Actors from the Denver Center Theatre are teaching these classes.
